As a Trello user, I can add due, start, scheduled, and recurring dates to cards using natural language in the card composer so that I can create and organize cards faster

      User Problem

Users want to quickly add and manage all types of dates (due, start, scheduled, recurring) while creating cards, without breaking their workflow. Trello currently requires users to manually open date pickers to set due dates, start dates, scheduled dates, or recurring dates on cards.

      Suggested Solutions

This suggestion proposes enabling natural language date parsing in the Trello card composer. Users should be able to type phrases like “Submit report due next Friday” or “Team meeting every Monday at 10am” directly in the card title or description, and Trello should automatically recognize and set the appropriate date fields.

      Current Workarounds

Users can configure an automation rule: "When [I enter] a [card name] [containing] a date set [due] on the date"

This automation rule will support actions to update the due date and start date only. Language support is limited.
