Issue Summary
When an account deletion happens, workspaces are deleted where the account is the sole admin. When the workspaces are deleted, boards in that workspace are closed.
If there are private boards in that workspace where the deleted account is the sole admin, then the board can no longer be accessed by other members
Note: this functionality existed in the account deletion flow, but we've observed influx of impacted customers due to dormant user deletion rollout.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a private workspace. Do not add other workspace members.
- Create a private board within the workspace. Add other users as normal board member.
- Delete the account.
Expected Results
Members of the private board should still be able to access it.
Actual Results
All remaining board members not able to re-open the board since no one is admin.
Workaround
Currently there is no workaround, customer needs to either post in community forum or raise support ticket, so support engineers can manually promote a member to admin.
