Issue Summary
When a card is archived and its parent list is later archived, restoring the archived card independently results in unexpected behaviour. Specifically, the card does not reappear on the board until the original list is restored and is not shown in the archived item as well. Additionally, the archived item does not display the original list name to which the card belongs.
Steps to Reproduce
- Archive a card.
- Archive the list that contains the card.
- Go to Archived Items and restore the archived card.
- Observe that the card does not show up on the board.
- The card remains hidden until the original list is restored.
- If the list is not restored, searching for the card link indicates the card is archived, but it no longer appears in the archived items.
Expected Results
The restored card should display the name of its original list. If the parent list remains archived, the system should either show the list name or provide an error message indicating that the list must be restored or allow the user to choose a default list for restoration.
Actual Results
When the card is restored while its parent list is still archived, it is removed from the archived items and remains missing from the board. The card is only visible once the original list is also restored, and no list name is shown in the archived item.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
The card will be restored to its original list only if that list is still active (i.e., not archived) on the board.
