Issue Summary

Users have reported that opening the Date menu on a card no longer defaults to having the date box selected. This means you need to select with the cursor the box on the written date if you want to type or paste a specific date without clicking through the calendar. 

This is particularly problematic in cases where users would shortcut this process through the keyboard. One example is that pressing "D" -> "Ctrl+A" -> "Ctrl+V" isn't possible if the date field isn't selected by default.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the due date menu on the card, either by navigating to it or using the "D" shortcut

Expected Results

The date box should be selected by default, allowing the user to type a date manually

Actual Results

The date box isn't selected, and the user needs to select it using their cursor or pressing Tab 7 times.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround to have the date box selected by default. A workaround will be added here when available
