User Problem

Enterprise admins would love to utilise the automatic seat management function to automatically deactivate inactive Enterprise licensed users, but not use the function to grant users licenses.

I suspect we'll also see vice versa - admins who want to use automatic seat management to grant new licenses, but not deactivate current users.

Suggested Solutions

Allow admins to set up only activating licenses or deactivating licenses in Automatic Seat Management if they wish

Current Workarounds

This is dependent on the number of licenses available in the Enterprise, but if the Enterprise has 90% or more licenses taken, you can turn off the auto-granting new license function as the automation will not work if your Enterprise has hit this threshold.

However, apart from that, the only workaround at this time is to manually deactivate / activate users at certain times if an admin wants to only use one part of the Automatic Seat Management function.
