User Problem

Some users prefer the simplicity of using the Trello add-on for Gmail to forward their emails to their boards in order to create new cards rather than using the Email-to-board feature. However, the Trello add-on has limitations; for instance, it does not include email attachments when creating cards from emails. This can lead to losing important information when a card is generated via email using the Trello add-on. 

Suggested Solutions

We should allow the Trello add-on to include email attachments when it creates a card from an email, similar to what the Email-to-board feature already does.

Current Workarounds

Users can use the Email-to-board feature to ensure that the in-line and attached files in an email are included on the card when it is emailed to their board.
