IP has been flagged as a scanner for Jira Service Management and Statuspage

      Issue Summary

      When integrating Jira Service Management (JSM) with Statuspage, users occasionally encounter an error with the following message: "418 Unknown: 'Your IP address Customer_IP has been flagged as a scanner. Scanners are not permitted.' This error causes certain actions on the Statuspage end to be missed. This is not the expected behaviour when JSM is integrated with Statuspage.

      Steps to Reproduce

      The issue is intermittent and cannot be reproduced consistently.

      Expected Results

      Successful integration between Jira Service Management and Statuspage without any errors. All actions on the Statuspage end should be executed as expected.

      Actual Results

      Occasionally, an error message is displayed: "418 Unknown: 'Your IP address Customer_IP has been flagged as a scanner. Scanners are not permitted.'" This results in missing actions on the Statuspage end.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
