Issue Summary

On applying the high contrast desert mode, selected tab is not properly visible on page.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open URL: https://status.npmjs.org/#
2. Navigate to 'Subscribe to updates' control and activate it.
3. Verify whether selected tab is properly visible or not.

Actual Results

On applying the high contrast desert mode, Selected tab "Subscribe via email" is not properly visible on page. This
issue does not exist with high contrast aquatic dusk and nigh sky themes.As a result, thes content is not available for users browsing the website with the Windows High Contrast setting turned on.

Expected Results

On applying the high contrast desert mode, Selected tab should be properly visible on page.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
