Issue Summary
Currently, it looks like subscriber emails are being passed to the LocalizeJS integration. Emails are considered PII (Personal Identifiable Information) and should not be passed into a 3rd party app unnecessarily.
This is specifically coming when you try to unsubscribe an email. When you enter your email and hit unsubscribe, the modal pops up that says" Are you sure you want to unsubscribe xxx email". This email is being passed back to Localize to translate which is should not be doing since its an email.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up LocaliseJS integration and set up the translations
- Subscribe an email
- Try unsubscribing an email and the modal that pops up will be translated, including the email address because you can see from the Localize panel.
Expected Results
- It should only be translating the text, not the subscriber email address.Iit should be wrapped in a tag that prevents it from being translated/scraped by localize.
Actual Results
The Email is being passed onto Localize to be translated
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
