Issue Summary
When attempting to upload a .svg file as a Page Logo for a statuspage, it will reach about 50% and the FileUpload dialogbox will have an Error Message "Error uploading file <filename>", where <filename> is the name of the SVG file.
You cannot successfully upload a SVG file, and this restriction is not documented anywhere.
While feature request STATUS-23 is not yet implemented, documentation should be updated to advise that we do not currently support SVG.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a SVG file or Save one from the Internet.
- Manage your statuspage and choose Your Page -> Customize Page and Email
- Upload Image, and choose your SVG file
Expected Results
The SVG file would be uploaded, and the page logo would be the SVG file (resized to best fit the logo frame)
Actual Results
If you use the File Upload widget, you will get an error "Error uploading file <filename>", where <filename> is the name of the SVG file. There are no other details.
Alternatively, if you drag the SVG image to the Statuspage input box, it will show the activity spinning logo while it appears to be processing the image, but never actually completes and doesn't display an error message that it couldn't upload the file.
Workaround
Customers cannot use .SVG files.
