Issue Summary

When using the sample Python script to test custom metrics, the result on the terminal shows the successful results but nothing actually arrives at the SP side,

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to Your page > System metrics, click to create new metrics.

1. On the next page, select the Python sample script.

1. Copy the Python script and paste it into any IDE and execute it to see if the data will be added to the System Metrics.

Expected Results

Data is successfully sent to Statuspage, and populates a new custom metric

Actual Results

No data is actually sent, as there are 4xx errors unaccounted for in the script
