Issue Summary
Pages have a built in automatic refresh that is enabled when there is an active Incident open on the page. This allows a user to pull up the page during the incident, leave it open, and the page will pull current status every 60 seconds until it is eventually resolved.
However, this appears to be broken on Private pages. Customer claims it was working just a few weeks ago.
Steps to Reproduce
- Spin up a Private page with authentication. Note that you cannot reproduce this when simply viewing a private page while logged in as a team member - you must be logged in like a private page viewer.
- Make sure there is an active incident on the page
- Login as a private page viewer
- Wait 60+ seconds
Expected Results
Page will automatically refresh and show current status. If any Component or Incident changes have happened since first loading the page, those will be pulled down and displayed on the page so the user knows the current status.
Actual Results
The page never refreshes. Looking in the browser console, over in the network tab, you will see a 401 error stating "Your page is a private page. Please include an API key to access this resource."
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
