Issue Summary
There has been a recent change in the Republic of Ireland regarding communication regulation that all SMS sent by non-registered numbers are marked as 'Likely Scam'. The change states:
- From 3 July 2025, if an SMS text message is sent from an unregistered Sender ID, it will be labelled ‘Likely Scam’.
Eventually, SMS text messages from unregistered Sender IDs will be blocked, and those messages won’t reach you.

Notifications are sent, and the content is correct, such as incident creation or resolution. However, the label indicates it's a scam.
Steps to Reproduce
- Have SMS notifications enabled
- Create a new incident
- Mark to send notifications
- Finish the incident creation
Expected Results
Users located in the Republic of Ireland receive the notification from Statuspage.
Actual Results
Users receive an SMS saying 'Likely Scam' with the Statuspage content.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
