I updated SourceTree on Windows to 3.0.6. The app window comes up OK when first launched, but if I minimize the window, then I can't restore the window, either by clicking on the icon in the Task bar, or Alt-Tab switching to the app. Nothing I do will restore the window. I need to quit the application (e.g., with the Task Manager), then restart the app.

According to the About dialog, the version is 3.0.6, although the bug report won't allow me to specify this. The largest number I can select is 3.0.5.

Also note that I had been running SourceTree 2.x on Windows, and was prompted today to update to 3.0.6. I had not been running any version of 3.* prior to this.

3.0.6, happening for me.  it plays the same sound as if a modal dialog is open and your are trying to click the parent.

Have the same exact issue as OP.  Have to click spam the icon in the tray to get it to come back up.

I've found out that it also works when you click the icon in the taskbar (so it's the active item) and then using the Windows-key + Up-Arrow to "maximize the current window".

I confirm that Alt + Space => Restore always work. The funny thing is that if i do shift + right-click on the taskbar to make the same menu appear and do Restore it does not work.

I've found the window can be reliably made to reappear by clicking on its taskbar icon, doing an Alt+Space, and selecting Maximize from the popup menu.

Same exact issue on 3.0.6. Spam clicking as stated by Claudio Giuggia will work after sometime.

Another indication is that while trying to restore SourceTree by clicking on taskbar icon or using CTRL+TAB, I can hear a Windows default beep.

You can hear the same exact beep if you open a Notepad window, type something and try to close it to see the "Do you want to save changes to Untitled?" dialog. And then while the save dialog is open, click on the Notepad window itself, the same exact beep can be heard.

Edit: After a few minutes of playing with it, seems that if I minimize SourceTree by clicking on the taskbar icon this issue will not happen, but if I minimize using the minimize button on top right corner of the SourceTree window, or using the ALT+SPACE and then pressing N, the issue will happen.

I have same problem. After updating to version 3.0.6 I cannot bring minimized window back. I have to close Sourcetree completly and restart it.

I actually have the same issue, however, click spamming the sourcetree item on the taskbar brings it back, sometimes it takes just 2 clicks, some other time i have to spam 10-15 clicks to get the window to come back after minimizing.
