Orphaned git-receive-pack.exe processes

When viewing the changes in local and remote commits via the tree view a git-receive-pack.exe process begins. This process appears to be orphaned and never ends even after closing Sourcetree. Viewing numerous commits obviously continues to produce more of these processes.

This is easy to reproduce just by clicking on various commits in the tree view and watching the list of process grow via the task manager. Observe that after closing sourcetree these processes persist.
