Startup is very slooooow, 45-60 sec

The startup time for SourceTree is very slow, usually 45+ sec. There's a brief "flash" of the SourceTree logo dialog then the screen goes blank. Subsequently, there a few quick displays of some kind of dialog windows but they aren't displayed long enough to read them.

The app should display a "loading" dialog immediately after being launched which stays displayed until the full UI is loaded. In addition, the startup time needs to be reduced to no more than 10-15 sec. It would be better to display the full UI, then have a loading message while the repository data is being loaded.
