Just updated SourceTree, and I have several issues with it (you can split this into multiple JIRAs if you want).
After the update and restart (twice, to see if the message would go away) I get this message:
Git-LFS not supported.
You'll need to upgrade to Git 2.12.1 or later.
We recommend upgrading to Git 2.17.1.2.
- So first issue - if updating SourceTree is going to require updating to a new version of Git, I should be warned about that before accepting the update. The way it is working now, updating SourceTree with a single click would leave me unable to work without updating Git (which takes quite a bit more work than a single click).
- Second issue. The message says to update to at least Git 2.12.1, and recommends 2.17.1.2. I currently have Git 2.17.1.windows.1. So I meet the requirement. Why am I being prompted?
- Third issue - I don't even use Git LFS! I'd never even heard of it before getting this message! I DO use Git Flow, but I'm not getting messages about that (which I shouldn't, since my Git version is recent enough). But Git LFS is not something I use.
