The GA update of Sourcetree 2.3.1.0 was announced on several machines with Windows 7 64 Bit in our team. Two team members were not able to update.

The update process in steps:

• SourceTree announced the update to 2.3.1.0
• Update was started and took around 1 minute
• Windows app crash of the application dialog (selection: stop application - German: Anwendung schließen)
• After the Windows app crash dialog was closed SourceTree reported the update was successful and should be restarted

--> After restarting SourceTree the old application is still installed and no more updates are shown also when manually checking for new updates in the Options menu.

Comments about the update procedure:
The update process seems to be severely broken ... also some of the last GA releases showed similar effects on some of our developer machines.
In case we want to update to a newer version I know we probably have to remove everything old and install fresh from scratch. Currently the official download from https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/ is still 2.1.11.0 so please also offer a current download for the newest version as well in case that is not already planned.
