I have ST shortcut pinned to my taskbar. The shortcut points to %localappdata%\SourceTreeBeta\SourceTree.exe, as this is the path that doesn't change between updates. This seems to be some kind of Squirrel wrapper?
When I start ST from this shortcut, a second icon appears in the taskbar. This second icon is for %localappdata%\SourceTreeBeta\app-2.2.1-beta-0\SourceTree.exe, so the actual executable.
Note that this seems to be a mis-configuration of Squirrel, see e.g. https://github.com/Squirrel/Squirrel.Windows/issues/1094 for a solution.
