This is a usability bug stemming from the fact that we don't have a proper bookmarks/organizational view in Windows SourceTree any more. Some minor usability issues (extra clicks / user-input) are also noted in the repro steps.

I'm setting up a group to represent a workspace with existing repositories on disk.

      1. Click on the + tab to get into the view of your repositories and folders
      2. Create a folder named something like "My Group"
      3. Select My Group, which has nothing in it.
      4. Click Add to add the first of several local git repositories to the group
      5. (Usability note) You then have to click Browse to select the repository from its location on disk (doesn't Add imply this?)
      6. (Usability note) You then also have to select My Group from the Local Folder, or the repository won't be added to it (shouldn't this be implied by the selection of the folder in step 3 before clicking Add?)
      7. (Usability note) If you don't change the name of the repository "bookmark" it will be indistinguishable from other copies of that repository in other workspaces in All Repos (shouldn't All Repos display more context like parent folder or full path? Old bookmarks did I believe)

RESULT: the repository you've just added takes over the tab, as if you're going to be working in that view now.

EXPECTED: I'm not trying to work in the repository right now, I'm trying to set up a folder as a workspace. I should be able to add several repositories to the folder without having to continue to select + and get back to it and see a new tab pop open for every one (which I'm just going to close because that's not the work I'm trying to do right now). You need an actual organizational view (ideally requiring fewer clicks) not just a "new-tab mode".
