    • Severity 1 - Critical

I just upgraded to SourceTree 2.1.10.0 and now when i try to pull from remote repo i get this error :

      git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false fetch wishgroupe
      remote: Empty password
      fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://yquintaine@bitbucket.org/wishgroupe/boondmanager_labs_documentation.git/'
      Completed with errors, see above.

It worked perfectly before this update.

            [SRCTREEWIN-7739] Error "remote: empty password"

It also worked for me, thank you.

This bug seems to have occurred in version 2.4.8.0

I did a clean uninstall of SourceTree and pulled a repository, which worked.

I then added my older bookmarks to SourceTree. However, I could not push or pull these repos, I got the same error: remote: empty password.

I subsequently removed these bookmarks and created new ones and pulled the repos again and I am no longer getting the error. I then pasted the changes from the old bookmark folder to the new one and pushed to the remote without any issues.

            I hope this helps someone.
