Sourcetree throws git errors after W10 Creators update

      Sourcetree 2.1.2.5 with Embedded Git 2.10.2

      JDK 1.8

      After updating to Creators update sourcetree tends to throw git errors a lot.

      It happens quite randomly on many actions, for example when checking out a branch.

      The error message box that appears states:
      "git.exe - Application error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."
