Minimize, maximize, and close button double up on main window

When clicking on any of the window control buttons (close, minimize, maximize), a second set of control buttons appear that also need to be clicked for the desired action to occur. Seems like there is a GUI issue here. It's not a huge issue, just a minor annoyance.
