Diff-View animation is annoying

What are all those animated textblocks for? Everytime i click on a file or a revision, the diffview has some animation. This is very annoying. Furthermore, the text in the diff view is quite blurry while the animation is executed, and it needs nearly a second to become readable, even after the moving of the textlock stops.
