Hang on "fetching older commits" with high CPU usage

      • I can't reliably reproduce it, but I do have a process dump.
      • Closing the tab and trying to reopen it did not help.
      • I noticed because my laptop's fans spun up and didn't stop

      I have a 140MB, 7-zipped process dump (orig size was over 1GB). Is there any way I can get this to you? Attachment limit is 10MB here.
