Confirming access to Bitbucket after hitting the "refresh oauth" button in the account config redirects you to "http://localhost:34106/?state=authenticated&code={snip}" in the browser that fails to load, probably because it's done doing it's thing and stops the server before the browser can display a page.

I have also just decided to stop using source tree.  Presumably the install needs to install a service that listens on port 34106 for confirmation from the git server in question.  For some reason that service either doesn't get installed or isn't able to start.  But it makes it impossible for me to even start using it. But the fact that this has been a problem since 2018 end the "couldn't care less" attitude of Atlassian really convinced me that this is perhaps not a tool in which I want to invest anyadditional time, let alone money.

I subscribed to GitKraken Pro per the suggestion of a friend who also does development.  Let's hope and trust that they're going to be better.

I had the same issue. I closed SourceTree and restarted as "Run as administrator". It working now.

Even with Edge browser, SourceTree still does not load (this shows up AFTER pressing "Bitbucket" and authenticating):

karimila.maganti there is nothing to fix, the behavior is expected.

I has this problem when Chrome was my default browser. When set to Edge it worked fine. So maybe give that a go.

piotrowski sorry it isn't meant as a fix, but providing more context.

To be honest I'm not sure there is a fix as the URL, including port is intended to be consistent between the client, Sourcetree and the host service. I need to clarify if that is a hard rule.

Is this meant as instructions for normal users on how to fix the problem? I don't really get how that could help.
