If I try to commit to the repository without entering a message then SourceTree hangs after I click the Commit button.
The application does not respond and I have to kill the process using Task Manager.
I would need to re-open SourceTree to commit with a message in order to proceed.I agree, best practice is to always specify a message so I "technically" shouldn't be running into this if I were doing that. But I don't always do that for POC hobby projects where I'm just wanting to get a backup of my file in the repo quick and move on with life.
