The new online installer will try to download modules from the internet, which does not work if someone is behind a proxy server. It does not use system proxy settings or support manual proxy settings.
This means it is not usable inside company networks with proxy configuration.

We believe we have fixed the issues with respect to the standard installer and interactions with proxy servers. Please try version 2.6.10.
Additionally we now provide an MSI installer, this still requires online registration, but no longer attempts to download Git or Mercurial and bundles any other tools it requires. It can be downloaded from https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/enterprise
