Most of the time this works fine, but if there are any issues connecting and logging in, sourcetree gets in an endless loop of asking me for credentials. This is a problem if I only use an SSH key to connect. In this case if the remote uses SSH public key authentication, I don't think SourceTree should ever prompt me for user and password, even if SSH authentication fails. It's very annoying when sourcetree goes into an endless loop of popping up windows for me to click 'cancel' on because I don't have any credentials for the remote other than a putty key.
Note: This happened when I moved my keys and putty agent couldn't find them. I could not use SourceTree even for local management of my git repositories because the authentication window kept popping up asking me for my password, when there is no password for connecting to that repository (only ssh public key authentication is available on that account).
