      Description

"split view staging" is not persistent.

Which means when I quit Source Tree I have to enable that for each repository I have open.

      Wishes:

      • make "split view staging" persistent per repository
      • allow specifying a global default for "split view staging" that each un-configured repository gets when it has no explicit setting

This largely influences my workflow since the versions where the "split view staging" was still the default.

Changing this default cost a lot of work especially since I've to restart SourceTree half a dozen times a day because it keeps orphan git processes alive therefore consuming way too many resources (still need to reproduce this in a reliable way).
