Double clicking on branch raises git lock

      Windows 7 64-bit.
      System Git version 2.10.0
      Repo approx 2GB.

    • Severity 3 - Minor

      When double clicking on a branch (quite large repo) to switch branch, it results in an error:

      fatal: Unable to create 'C:/Development/git/.git/index.lock': File exists.

      However, right clicking on the branch and clicking "Checkout xxxxxx" works perfectly.
