Not staging, but actual committing to a repo.

If you select a number of pending changes, and hit the commit button, a new screen appears with the file list (again) and space to type in the commit message. In that screen, sometimes you have to re-select the files, and sometimes it remembers your previous selections.

It happens randomly, and is not easily reproducible.
