Git submodules - would like a way to see the current commit hash of submodules.

Maybe in parentheses/brackets appended to the submodule name, or indented under the submodule name, or by right-clicking the submodule name... anything that makes it easy and doesn't require me to open each submodule or trace back through branch history...
