In certain cases, SourceTree constantly asks for git credentials, even after they have ben entered correctly. Investigations are needed to see if the cause is:

• Bug in the SourceTree source code.
• GIT_ASKPASS environment variable.
• git-credential-winstore.exe can't access the passwords stored by SourceTree.

Drilling down, it seems that entries in the store are also disappearing as trusted combinations.
