      Windows Server 2012R2

    • Severity 2 - Major

Trying to fetch from a host of which Putty has already cached an ed25519 host key (ssh-ed25519@22:<hostname>), results in the following error message:

The server's host key is not cached in the registry. You
have no guarantee that the server is the computer you
      think it is.
The server's rsa2 key fingerprint is:
      ssh-rsa 2048 <fingerprint>

So it looks like the cached ed25519 host key is ignored.
