No SourceTree when "user home" is unavailable

    • Priority: Medium

    • Affects Version/s: 1.8.3
    • Component/s: None
    • Environment:

Windows 7 with "user home" on a network drive.

    • Severity 2 - Major

While git supports working offline, SourceTree doesn't seem to support a common enterprise setup where the user's home folder is on a network drive. When I take my company laptop outside of the office, SourceTree is completely unusable because some info about the repos are stored on the (now unavailable) network drive. I can't even commit locally.

Perhaps the location for these files should be configurable? Or it can be solved in some other way?
