Diff-view is different than file selection

      • stage a whole file change in the "File Status" tab
      • click on the file in the staged files area and the diff shows up on the right
      • select a single line on the right and click "unstage line"
      • the diff changes to the line you just unstaged (and anything else in that file that hasn't been staged yet which should be nothing if you originally staged the whole file) however the selection on the left is still on the "staged files" file. This means that if you want to see what is staged in the diff, you need to deselect the staged file (by clicking on a different staged file or an unstaged file) and then re-select the staged file.
