Attempting to open or create a repository fails with errors if neither system nor embedded git are installed.
Instead of some cryptic messages (file not found, error code -1 etc) a message should be generated on program start that no git version could be found and what to do about it.
This would be especially helpful for git/sourcetree beginners.
