    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Priority: Highest
    • 1.8.2.9
    • Affects Version/s: 1.8.2.2, 1.8.2.3
    • Component/s: None

I updated to the latest available Windows version 1.8.2.2. (If it matters, regarding Mercurial, I chose to indicate I would not be using Mercurial. Regarding the registration logon, I chose to log in through my Google login.)

Since updating, now SourceTree always crashes on start up. The issue indicated in the sourcetree.log is the following.

      ERROR [...] [1] [SourceTree.AppRoot] [HandleCrash] - Fatal error
      System.InvalidOperationException: No glyphtypeface found

This actually fails multiple times for a single attempt to start SourceTree, which can lead to getting two duplicate error dialog windows that both identically suggest adding a bug issue.

A more complete sourtree.log excerpt is attached that holds the entries for multiple attempts to start SourceTree, as well as an attempt to Repair the installation after downloading a fresh copy of the latest Windows version.

The system is running Windows 7 Professional.
