Crash when refreshing view after a commit

This hasn't happened before and I'm not quite sure what I've done to cause it, but:

1. I was doing a commit.
2. Skipped submodule check.
3. Commit succeeded - closed commit window.
4. Main log window started refreshing, took unusually long and then it crashed.
