Since the last update the whole program is broken, crashes all the time

    Description

      Since I'have updated to version 1.8.1.0 every time I try to do anything the program gets frozen and then crashes or I have to kill it.

      it is impossible to open the history view of a repository that is already added.
      When the conflicts in a file are resolved with an external tool (KDiff3) the tool crashes
      And so on...
