I've got a couple repositories hosted over ssh. The password and username are saved. When I change something in a submodule, this does show in the parent repository, but I can not commit the changes from the parent repository. This is possible when the repository is a local repository.

Also, if I have a project with multiple layers of submodules, SourceTree only checks one layer for changes. The top-most does not have any indication for changes in any sub- of submodule, or deeper.
