      The current version of SourceTree does not perform well without connection to the remote repositories. While GIT works perfectly well locally, SourceTree is blocked by all the checks of the remotes it does.

      An offline/local mode could solve this problems. If SourceTree is in this mode, no remotes are checked and all actions which would need a TCP connection are disabled.
