Let's say you open a git repository with a remote origin and at least 2 branches. In the origin, the two branches contain new commits.
- Refresh the remote status and the red icon with the commits count is displayed on the pull icon. (image 1)
- Pull the commits for the current branch. The red icon disappears. (image 2)
- Now click to activate the second branch: the red icon is not displayed while there are still some commits to pull. (image3)
