    • Component/s: Mercurial
    • Environment:

      Windows 7

When you create a new Mercurial repository in Bitbucket, you are greeted with a page that has a "Clone in SourceTree" button. When you click that button, it launches SourceTree, with the "URL Actions" dialog up, and the "Clone New" tab up. On this dialog, there is a "Checkout Branch" section, which is set to "default", and cannot be changed. When you hit the "Clone" button, the clone fails with, "abort: unknown branch 'default'!" If I try to clone it from the "Hosted Repositories" panel, I have the same problem. The only way to clone the repository is to go to "Add Repository" and enter the appropriate "Source Path."
