After upgrading from SourceTree 1.6.8 to 1.6.11 (intermediate versions not tested) the program causes problems when working with a Stash Git repository that is accessed via HTTPS or SSH. The behaviour was consistently observed on 6 different machines using Windows 7 and 8.

Any interaction with the repository, such as simply selecting the master branch causes SourceTree to freeze for varying amounts of time. The Task Manager shows full CPU utilization of one core and abnormal RAM usage (growing more than tenfold). For an example see the attached screenshots which show the state of the frozen GUI and task manager after double clicking "master".

The Stash server is running in the local network but is accessed via its public address. HTTPS is configured using a Wildcard SSL certificate from GoDaddy, the root CA bundle had to be added to the clients via "git config --global http.sslCAInfo [path/to/ca_bundle.crt]". Without this checking out the repository would produce the git error message "SSL Error: unable to get local issuer certificate".
