Currently, SourceTree update automatically if there is a new version

However, if the new version does not suit the user requirement, it is impossible to downgrade it because SourceTree will auto update it later

I am forced to use  SourceTree 2.4.8.0 because later versions require a version of .NET that cannot be installed. I can never use any later version of your software, unless you revert to supporting .NET 4.6 if higher versions are not available. My concern with auto updates is, well, what happens when it decides to update automatically? Will the installation just break? I manually renamed SourceTree/Update.exe to Update.exe.BAK in the hopes that I won't have to find out.

Obviously, if you supported .NET 4.5 again like you did just a few months ago this wouldn't be a problem. Looking at the other responses, I see I'm not alone in this issue.

I've discovered that the version of Windows on my work PC doesn't support the latest update for SourceTree.  Specifically, I'm running Windows 10 Pro version 1511, which does not support MS.NET 4.7.1.  Unless and until our IT Department decides to update my OS (or Altassian releases an updated version of SourceTree that doesn't require MS.NET 4.7.1), I'm not going to be able to update.

At present, it's only an annoyance, but it's one I could very much do without

I am using version 2.4.8. It is not working. I would like this option added in the future as our IT team doesn't allow updates until they verify. It's so annoying to see the popup every time I restart source tree. Please add an option to disable updates.
