V1.6.1.0 UI is significantly slower than the previous release

    Description

      The User Interface in v1.6.1.0 is significantly slower on Windows. Fade in menus are clunky, the file status diffs sometimes do not show up, clicking the option box for staging/unstaging files is extremely laggy.

      System info:

      • Windows 7 ultimate
      • i7, 2.70 GHz
      • 64-bit
      • 8 GB of RAM, using 6.76 GB
