Description
The hunk operation buttons (Stage lines/hunk, Discard hunk) have been moved to the right-hand side of the diff view. This is a very unpleasant change because it forces the user to continuously move the mouse across the screen as they examine changed files and decide which hunks to stage.
Unless my workflow is very different from others', I click a file, look at the diff, and then (often but not always) use the stage/discard hunk buttons. The new button placement in 1.6 makes this a much more painful process.
Given this button change and the new default of the "no staging" view, I can't help but wonder if SourceTree is trying to push users to ignore the Git index. Given how important it is to really using Git I hope that's not the case.
Thanks.
