Every time I update, it defaults to the same defaults as on first install, and ignores the choices I have already made.
Specifically:
- It tries to reset the autocrlf to true. I want it false - I work on Windows but with bash scripts that I run via cygwin and projects that i edit on windows but my IDE runs on a virtual Linux environment. If it checks them out with Windows line endings then they stop working
- It keeps trying to install mercurial each time. This is just an annoyance
- It keeps wanting me to re-register (although I can skip, it shouldn't even be asking)
Every other program I have is able to look at the current settings during upgrade. It is annoying - and gives a bad impression of you as company - to keep pushing your defaults on me after I have chosen to change them. And, as said, one of them ahs caused problems by causing apparantly random errors that turned out to be that certain files had different line endings
